The Engineering Challenge
Students traded textbooks and student micro-businesses sold merchandise through unorganized Facebook groups. Social media feeds quickly buried older listings and offered no structured search or transaction tracking. Campus buyers and sellers lacked a dedicated mobile directory to discover student shops and coordinate physical handoffs safely inside university grounds.
The Architectural Solution
Led product discovery and created full mobile user flows in Figma. Defined feature specifications for our engineering team, including search, buyer-seller chat, and order lifecycle states. Coordinated campus onboarding across student organizations to help student micro-sellers showcase inventories and negotiate campus meetups.
